Never dive solely based on information from ScubaSnap maps. Locations may be user-added and are not guaranteed to be safe, accurate, or up-to-date. Always do your own research and consult local dive operators.

ScubaSnap (“Service”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is a community-powered dive log and photo platform. ScubaSnap is owned, developed, and hosted by the ScubaSnap team for the global diving community.
User (“you”) means anyone who visits or interacts with the ScubaSnap website or app (under construction).

By using ScubaSnap, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
You may be asked to accept the Terms directly; otherwise, your use of the Service means you accept them automatically.

Please register with accurate, up-to-date info. Keep your password safe.
You are responsible for all activity under your account, so don’t share your login with anyone.

You control the privacy of your own data. Choose to make your logs, photos, and maps public or private.
ScubaSnap analyzes user content for features like stats and ratings, but we do not sell or share your personal info with others.
We use cookies to help manage your session, but we don’t store personal identifiers in your browser.
Your data is protected with strong security measures, and only ScubaSnap staff can access it for technical support or safety.

ScubaSnap, its code, name, and logo are protected and belong to ScubaSnap.
You must own or have rights to the content you upload. Don’t upload copyrighted material you don’t have permission for.
You may not use ScubaSnap or its data for commercial purposes unless you have written permission from us.
Our maps use open tools like Leaflet and other open-source libraries to help you explore the underwater world.

By uploading photos to ScubaSnap, you retain all copyright and ownership of your photos. However, you grant ScubaSnap a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, modify, adapt, and share your content as necessary to operate, promote, and improve the Service.
This license allows ScubaSnap, for example, to display your uploaded photos on maps, profiles, or in promotional materials related to ScubaSnap.
You can delete your content at any time, which will remove it from public display, though backup copies may persist for a limited period.

Respect other users. Do not post content that is illegal, offensive, harassing, or spammy.
We reserve the right to remove any content or accounts that violate our community standards or these Terms.

By using ScubaSnap, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless ScubaSnap and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved in Dutch courts unless otherwise required by law.

ScubaSnap may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content, privacy, or practices.

ScubaSnap is intended for users aged 16 and over. If you are under 16, please do not use the Service or provide personal information.

These Terms apply while you use ScubaSnap, until you or we decide to end your account.
You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, or if required by law.

ScubaSnap is provided “as is”. We can’t guarantee accuracy of any information or suitability for your needs.
We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage from using the Service or relying on content you find here.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Please check this page for the latest version. Your continued use means you accept any changes.
